Supplies Needed:

1. Hangers

2. White cardstock (NO COLORS) 60-67 lb.

3. Safety pins

(No clothes pins, straight pins or binder clips to the clothing.)

4. Fine needle tagging gun. (Not required)

(Make sure you tag through a seam, see Youtube videos how to avoid holes while tagging)

5. Tape for securing tags to toys, books, etc. (Painters Tape)

6. Large Ziploc-type bags (to pack groups of toys together)

Clothing (shirts, pants, dresses, jackets, etc):
Again take another look at your clothing for stains down the front and on the sleeves.
If you find stains, try to remove the stain or donate it to charity.
Another great tip is if the item is a bit wrinkled, pull the iron out and sharpen the garment.

All clothes must be hung on hangers.
The hanger must be pointed to the left so that the hanger looks like a question mark ????
Your item should be hung with zippers zipped, buttons buttoned, etc.

Pants cannot be folded over the hanger.
Please use two safety pins and attach the pants to the TOP of the hanger so that you can see the entire front. (See pic above)

You will attach the tag to the shirt or pants as seen in the picture. Must be on the right of the item.

******If you are using a tagging gun, please tag through a seam so that you do not rip the clothing.*****

If you are selling a set, pin the pants to the same hanger that the shirt is on. The tag should appear on the shirt. Sets pant and shirt must be same size. Avoid using multiple hangers for 1 tag.

If you have matching accessories, like headbands, socks, booties, place them in a ziplock bag and safety pin them to the top garment.

No used underwear.

Descriptions are IMPORTANT: Good Description: NIKE WHITE TEE WITH UNICORN Bad Description: Tee Shirt. If your item loses a tag we may have 150 size 5 girls Tee shirts but more than likely we may only have 1 or 2 NIKE White Unicorn Tee.

Smaller Items:

If you have blankets, bibs, books, etc. Place these in ziplock bag and tape the item tag to the back of the baggie. We will not split the bag lot so please price these accordingly. Also remember to group these items together to reach a min. of $2 price point. We do have the right to turn away items for being over priced although it is rare. Please do not tape bags shut as items will need checked for stains.

Shoes 25 Pair Limit:

Please be objective with shoes. They must be in very good condition and clean. We limit 25 pairs of shoes to each consignor. Shoes must be attached so that the pair is not separated. This can be done with a LARGE safety pin through the laces, ziplock bag, or zip tie. The price tag needs to be easily visible.

Sporting Equipment:

This would include cleats, ball gloves, shin guards, etc. Take the time to clean the mud off the cleats and inspect the items.

DVDs/Books (Limit 25 Book tags/ 10 DVD):

We are accepting DVDs and books. DVDs should have their own case, no hand written or burned DVD’s or Cd’s. No VHS tapes, please. If you have children’s books, try to group them together so you can get a better price for them. Place these in a bag, or use tape (painters) to group. Attach the item/group card to the back of the item. Books should not be ripped, marked or worn. Coloring books must be new and NOT colored in.

Bedding:

Please fold nicely and hang over a hanger. If you have matching accessories make sure to list these on the card as well. Print two of the cards and make sure that the accessories are marked that they go with the bedding.  *We will no longer accept padded bumper pads for cribs. If these are part of a set, please remove them.*

Toys:

All toys must be in working order and must have all their parts (including working batteries). If a toy has several parts, place these in a Ziploc bag and tape to the main toy. It is beneficial that if the toy can fit in a Ziploc along with the parts, please present it this way. Don’t forget to look into your yard for the sand boxes, Little Tikes Playhouses, tents, and outdoor play centers. We only accept, battery operated stuffed animals like Tickle Me Elmo, or grouped stuffed animal with matching book or another toy. No fast food toys. Reminder to check out the recall website, these items should be discarded.

Furniture:

Beds, high chairs etc. can be displayed assembled or unassembled. If it is unassembled, parts must be in a Ziploc and taped to the furniture. If your item has multiple pieces, you will need to attach your account number to the associated pieces. Only one piece should have the main product card. It is good practice to check the recall website. CRIBS: there has been a recall and it is now illegal to sell used cribs that were manufactured prior to June 2011.

Car Seats:

Car seats that have been manufactured within 7-10 years will only be accepted (check on the bottom for the manufactured date). We do not accept car seats that have been in an accident or on the recall list. Please check  www.recall.gov before you bring in your unit. Straps and cloth liner must be clean and free of stains. A used car seat checklist must be filled out and presented when dropping off the seat. Email us for check list.

Potty Items:

Diaper Genie, training seats, diaper pails must be very clean. They must be free of, well, “you know what” and free of potty odor. Use bleach to clean these items because if they fail our sniffer and our eyes, you will need to take them home. The item tag should be on the flattest surface of the item.

Diaper Bags:

Make sure that your diaper bag is free of tears and stains. Give them a gentle cleaning.

Overall Reminder:

It is very important to have your item tag secure on each item that you have. If we cannot find the card, the item will be pulled and placed in an area of “no sale”. We will donate this item since we will not know who to return it to.
